Small relay with both N/C and N/O contacts

These are nice small relays that include both normally open and normally closed contacts. I used them in homemade circuit boards to control signal lights on a train layout. Green light on in N/C position and red light on when relay activated by an infrared switch. I added a capacitor and resister to delay the relay slightly so the lights did not flash back and forth between the spaces between the cars.

Another cheap and great product from uxcell, I always liked their products for prototyping as it allows me to spend the minimal amount of money to decide if a concept is worth pursuing. All 10 relays showed up in working order and have yet to get one to fail. One nice touch is the pinout or diagram more or less is printed on the bottom of the relay, just like much more expensive relays used in the industry.

Great little relays for small motor reversing circuits! I measured the coil on load at 0.04A 5vdc - the price varies widely from multiple vendors so check around.

I'm using these small relays to latch and reverse a DIY time lapse camera rail system. Designed for pcb they have 8 solder lugs - light weight - note the common is closest to the coil connections.

All 10 relays faulty

I ordered this pack of 10 relays for a project, and every one of them is faulty or mis-labeled.
All of the relays are labeled as having 5-volt coils, but when energized at 5 volts DC, they draw about 50 mA (on a supply with plenty of headroom), give a weak click, the NC contacts disengage, but the NO contacts fail to connect. The story is the same with every relay in the shipment - not a single one of them works at the rated markings.
Fortunately, I have another lot coming from a different source, because these simply don't operate as marked.
